In
the
summer of 1999, two families from Southern California
moved to Salem, Massachusetts in response to a prophecy,
and with a love for New England. They planted The
Gathering. Phil and Bev Wyman pastored in Carlsbad,
CA for 13 years, and after 5 years of planning, finally
made this cross country trek.
For
Bev, who was raised in North Chelmsford, MA, this
is somewhat of a home coming. Phil, their 16 year
old son Elijah, and the Menasco family (Jeff and Diane,
and their children Kendyll, Carly, and Kevin), are
mostly Californians. Oh boy, do they need help! Here's
what the gang looks like:

This is a fairly musical
group. Jeff plays the keyboards, and Diane and Kendyll
play the guitar. Pastor Phil is a guitar and mandolin
player. Bev plays the flute, and Elijah plays drums
and bass.
Pastor
Phil and Elijah need your prayers. Please pray for
surf! They've continued their favorite sport, even
through the chilly winter season, but the waves are
not quite as consistant as they were in California.
